Leadership & Governance
Our School Leadership and Faculty consist of highly qualified, passionate and experienced professionals committed to delivering an outstanding academic and social experience for ISPS students in line with our Mission, Vision & Motto.
Our School Director is appointed by the ISPS Board and is supported by a strong team of Principals and Directors, each bearing operational responsibility for different areas of school life.
This Leadership Team keeps operations going smoothly and flawlessly for the students teachers and and parents. The team consists of the:
- School Director
- Elementary Principal
- Middle/High School Principal
- Assistant Principal (Pastoral)
- Curriculum Coordinator
- Director of Admission, Communications and Marketing
- Director of Facilities
- Finance Manager
- Human Resources Manager
- Student Services Coordinator
The team meets regularly to ensure that the mission and vision of the school are being implemented. They are responsible for the educational program and the daily operations of the school. The School Director reports to the Board of Directors, while leadership team members report to the School Director.
ISPS is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of representatives from the original shareholders who established the school, as well as parent representatives elected through the Parent Teacher Organisation of the international School of Port of Spain. The board of directors concentrates on broad direction and strategic planning of the school, and delegates the day-to-day operation of the school to the School Director who attends all Board meetings.
