National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organizations since its inception in 1921.

NHS chapters are found in all 50 American states, US Territories, Canada, and around the world. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.

NHS at ISPS

The NHS Chapter at the International School of Port of Spain is committed to providing support and assistance to individuals and organizations in an effort to improve the wider society of Trinidad and Tobago. These students were carefully chosen based on the four pillars of NHS -- character, service, scholarship and leadership. NHS members consistently work together to organize different fundraising events and weekly visits to multiple charitable organizations.
