NHS Volunteers at Soup Kitchen

Last month (April 24th), the National Honor Society volunteered at the Love All, Serve All kitchen in downtown Port of Spain from 10 am to 6:30 pm and prepared, cooked and packaged out a total of 231 meals which consisted of rice, red beans, and cucumber salad for the homeless of Port of Spain. All ingredients were purchased from funds raised in our Trini Food Drive thru held in February.

During these uncertain times, the NHS was grateful to all six members and Mrs. Clarke, Mr. & Mrs. Chan who were able to commit their time and efforts. All COVID protocols as well as social distancing were observed and followed throughout the day. We would like to specially thank Coca-Cola Caribbean Bottlers Ltd for their generous charitable donation of 15 cases of Dasani waters which was given out with each meal on the same night.
