Numeracy in Pre-K
This week, PreK4s used Unifix cubes to practice building the number 8 and decomposing it into smaller parts. Some of us extended this thinking into writing addition number sentences.
We also played a game to practice counting objects in a circular configuration - making sure to use our manipulatives to "mark the start"!
Pre-K 3s worked on visual discrimination skills, and sorting activities. Both age levels also reinforced the skills we have learned using IXL on our iPads - so fun!
We love using our hands-math centers!
