MOvember 2021

A massive congratulations to our National Honours Society, who became the MOvember fundraising crew this year, & raised a whopping $5,681.00 for The Trinidad & Tobago Cancer Society.  Students and staff kindly contributed to help raise funds and awareness for Men’s Health Issues.  Activities were limited due to restrictions but the enthusiasm and drive were abundant, so well done all.  

As always, there were a few die-hard members of staff representing in a furry fashion, so thank you to all.  An extra special shout out to our long-distance Mo Bro Mr. John Steinbach who sent his support (& his moustache) all the way from Vietnam.  A special thank you also to Charlotte P., Grade 11, for leading the initiative this year.


Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at


NHS made a $5600 donation to the Cancer Society of Trinidad and Tobago, as the annual ‘Movember’ campaign draws to a close. Thank you to all parents, staff, and students who made contributions to this great achievement.
