Grade 5 Students Explore Elements of Art
Form
Grade 5 art students recently finished a unit on the art element Form. Using clay as the medium they created low-relief tablets that connected to themes explored in their PYP Exhibition - from climate change to gender equality and more.
Positive and Negative Space
In their current unit on Printmaking, Grade 5 students have learned about positive and negative space in a composition, which will prove useful when carving on linoleum to make their print blocks.
