The start of Quarter 2 has allowed Creative Writing students to interpret, analyze and create their own short fiction in response to multiple sub-genres. The Creative Writing students are focused on the understanding and description of exposition and the initiation of conflict in short stories. To start this process, students co-authored an apocalyptic writing project in which they complete a fully developed exposition that leads to a larger conflict. The Creative Writing students have organized their stories, and re-created a specific scene to film from their stories that best represent their work in exposition and conflict creation in apocalyptic writing.
