AP Classroom in Action!

AP Classroom in Action!

It is never too early to start practice for the AP exam in May. That’s exactly what the high school AP Human Geography students got to do as they interacted digitally with one of their many useful learning tools, AP Classroom, designed by College Board.

AP Classroom is an excellent free online resource provided by College Board to help both students and teachers in multiple ways. For example, short videos created by expert AP teachers cover all course content and skills to help students get familiar with the complexity of this course.

Teachers can assign Progress Checks for each Unit and students can practice their skills and knowledge receiving immediate feedback with answers. A bank of Multiple Choice questions as well as Free-response questions which mimic the real exam are provided to teachers to create assessments or simply to allow students to practice in their own time.

Last week the AP Human Geography class got their first opportunity to work in small groups as well as individually to do some assessment practice. It is never too early to create an exam mindset.
