Library Update - March 18

We've been busy!

The library is beginning to feel like it used to before the pandemic. There is a consistent flow of students and teachers in here. At any given moment you will see our HS students in here studying; our MS students utilizing the AV room to film their projects or here in classes to borrow books and learn about research resources; and our grade 5's in here to borrow books or waiting for after school activities. It's been quite busy but so wonderful to have grades 5-12 out.

We are super excited to welcome PK-4 after the Easter break! Students can look forward to storytime and will be able to borrow books more regularly. We have a lot of new books waiting to be checked out.

In preparation for their return, we wanted to spruce up the library a bit. You will find a slightly transformed library compared to the library before the pandemic. Check the pics below to see what's new!

Read Aloud

Remember, this month is read-a-loud month...continue to try to carve out time to model reading to your kids. It only takes 21 days to form a habit - what better habit to have than reading aloud, daily for at least 15 minutes and preparing your child for learning, school and life!
