Dear ISPS Community:
Welcome to all of the new and returning families to International
School of Port of Spain. ISPS has had a wonderful start and the
ISPS PTO Board is excited about the events for 2007-2008. There are
many opportunities to get involved and be part of the community at
ISPS, and research has shown that a child’s education is positively
enhanced when the parents are actively involved in that education.
As a volunteer you can give that support and get to meet and make
new friends at the same time.
The function of the PTO Board is to assist the school with the
planning and implementation of school events. The PTO is not
expected to generate revenue; however, any revenue generated from
PTO events or activities is utilized to fund support for future PTO
events and activities. ISPS has always enjoyed an active and
dedicated body of volunteers – an essential ingredient in our
formula for success.
On
behalf of the PTO Board I would like to thank you in advance for
your time and energy and look forward to joining you at the upcoming
events.
