PTO
Letter
From The President
Dear ISPS
Community,
It
gives me great pleasure to welcome each of you to the International School
of Port of Spain, and to introduce you to our PTO Board members.
Our PTO Bye Laws were changed
at our May 2009 PTO Annual General Meeting. The changes afford each elected
member to the PTO Board the opportunity to voluntarily serve for a two year
consecutive period. This effectively means that many of our existing PTO
sponsored events can be fine-tuned. We will also be able to put forth new
ideas and topics from our members to enrich the overall experience of our
children, our parents and our teachers during our stay at the ISPS.
Our Board Members
for the academic year 2009 / 2010 are as follows:
President: Debra
de Montrichard
Vice
President: Ernie Ross
Vice
President: Mirtha de Cruz
Treasurer:
Lou-Anna Patterson
Secretary:
Susan Philips
In developing the PTO
and by extension the School community, we seek the assistance of our Home
Room Moms in the Elementary School and our Class Room Representatives
in
the Middle and High Schools. I appeal to our parent members to “become
involved” It is only through our collective input, our energy, our resources
and our commitment that we will excel as an ISPS Community.
We continue to hold our meetings on
the third Wednesday of every month
at 7.30 am in the Conference room
and you are invited to attend and
put forth your suggestions and
ideas. Your input will always be
valued!
Sincerely
Debra
de Montrichard
ISPS PTO President
