Welcome to
CAISSA
Dear CAISSA Athletes and Coaches,
Welcome to Trinidad and Tobago and the International
School of Port of Spain! We are delighted to host the CAISSA boys’ soccer
and girls’ basketball tournament and look forward to an exciting competition
and opportunity to build friendships.
You have worked hard to train for this tournament and I
hope there is a high level of competition. Only one team will win the first
place trophy but, in reality, you are already winners- for being selected to
represent your school and participating in this event. We look forward to a
tournament exemplified by good sportsmanship, teamwork and collegiality. Athletes, I strongly encourage you to thank your
coaches for making this experience possible. Their dedication is recognized
and appreciated by all of us. In addition, I especially thank Ashmir
Ali, ISPS’ Athletic Director, for the tremendous effort he has made to make
this tournament enjoyable for all of us. So, let the games begin- play hard,
have fun, and enjoy your time in T & T.
